Medical students, residents and fellows can jump-start their research careers by applying for a seed grant from the AMA Foundation. It is due by Dec. 4.
Medical Student Scholarship Program
For Illinois residents enrolled in an allopathic or osteopathic medical school in the state of Illinois. Applicant must demonstrate financial need and must be in good academic standing. The scholarship covers tuition, fees, and living expenses of $950 a month for 12 months per year.
Tylenol Future Care Scholarship
Ten – $10,000 and thirty – $5,000 scholarships available.
Must be pursuing a degree related to the health field and completed at least 1 year of school.
IOKDS Health Careers Scholarship Department
For students preparing for careers in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, physical or occupational therapy. Applicants must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen and enrolled full-time in an accredited institution. Nursing students must complete their first year to apply. Degree seeking M.D. or D.M.D. students must be in their second year to apply. Scholarship amount is $1,000.
