  • Career planning and course selection
  • Networking opportunities among students, faculty, staff, community leaders and health care professionals
  • Connections to outside organizations and practicing health professionals that often lead to scholarship opportunities, internships, field practicums/experiences and mentoring relationships

Pre-Health Profession Student Organizations

UHP’s student-led organizations provide a venue for undergraduates to network with health sciences colleges, healthcare professionals in the community and UIC faculty and administrators. UHP organizations offer professional development support thought presentations, guest lectures, educational activities, social and recreational activities and numerous career development opportunities.
